How do I improve image resolution and quality?

With Y2, we've introduced SD+ thumbnail images, so your pictures will be 4x clearer than most competitors. To turn on SD+, visit your camera settings page and change the thumbnail resolution.

To request the HD version of any picture or video:

• Click on "Media" at the bottom
• Click on the photo/ video you'd like to be improved
• Then click "Request HD" at the top
• Within 24 hours (usually much sooner), you'll receive a notification that your HD request has arrived in your command center. You can find it in place of the previous SD/SD+ version.

Note: We never charge hidden fees for SD+ or HD pictures and videos. These simply count towards your allotted data for the month. From the "Cameras" section in your app, you can keep tabs on data consumption for each camera by viewing MB used/ total MB. Or call us for advice on this!
