My camera isn't getting a signal

  1. Make sure that you have activated your camera in your Yellowstone.ai Command Center (your data plan should be green).
  2. Inspect the antenna for damage and make sure it is screwed in firmly. 
  3. Power cycle by switching the camera to OFF for 10 seconds, then back to SETUP. You may need to do this 3 - 5 times. Note: To save on battery, the camera only looks for a new cell signal for two minutes after switching to SETUP or ON. If the camera doesn’t connect within two minutes, it will stop searching. Power-cycling the camera initiates a new attempt to search for signal. Finding a new cell tower the first time ever can take a few cycles.
  4. Confirm that you have cell coverage.
