Issues with Android app on Samsung, Pixel, LG or other Android phone

If you're having issues with your Android phone app, these steps will likely solve your issue. Feel free to call us for help!

  1. Update / uninstall and reinstall app 
  2. Check for phone OS updates - Google tutorial at https://support.google.com/android/answer/7680439?hl=en)
  3. Reboot phone
  4. Clear cache and data 
    1. Locate the affected app in your app drawer.
    2. Long-press on the app’s icon, then tap App info or App details
    3. From there, click on Storage & cache.
    4. And finally, hit Clear cache to reset the temporary files stored by the app.
  5. Update or roll back Android System WebView
    1. Visit the Play Store.
    2. Click on your profile icon at the upper-right corner.
    3. Select Manage apps from the options, then tap Updates available.
    4. Scroll down to search for Android System WebView on the list and tap the Update button to install the latest version.
    5. Kindly restart your phone again to implement the new update properly.
  6. Try opening your Yellowstone.ai app to see if the issue is fixed. If not, then try the next steps related to Android System Webview:
    1. Launch your device Settings app and tap Apps & notifications.
    2. You may need to hit See all apps to view the apps on your phone.
    3. From there, find the Android System WebView app and select it.
    4. Look straight to the top-right and tap the 3-dot button.
    5. Finally, hit Uninstall updates to roll back the app.
    6. We recommend you restart your phone afterwards.
