Our cameras use invisible no-glow flash technology. Because of this, the night time pictures won't be as crisp or clear as cameras that use a visible flash. That said, there are some things you can to do improve the quality of your night time pictures.
- Adjust "Night Mode." If your night pictures are blurry because your subjects are moving quickly, adjust this to Minimum Blur. If your subjects are moving slowly but are too far away from the camera to see clearly, then set this for Max Range. This can be set via the app or physically with the camera buttons.
- Increase Send Pic Resolution to Medium
- Set up your camera in a location with nearby foliage directly behind your subjects to reflect the invisible flash and brighten your pictures. See example pictures below demonstrating the benefits of having trees in the background.
- Move the camera closer to your targets.
